Application storage
A contact enquiry submitted through this website is stored as a record in the application database so the enquiry is not lost if mail delivery fails. That record is permanently deleted six months after it is submitted, automatically and without a request being needed. Deletion is measured in calendar months from the submission time, so an enquiry sent on 15 March is deleted on or after 15 September.
The stored record holds the enquiry type, name, email address, company, expected project start, existing website address, message, and a shortened source IP address. A reference image is not stored in the application database, and no uploaded file outlives the enquiry record. CSRF, flash, and duplicate-prevention data expire with session handling. reCAPTCHA verification tokens are not stored as enquiry data or old form input.
Automatic deletion
A scheduled task runs daily and permanently deletes every stored enquiry older than six months. Deletion is automatic; no request is required, and the record is removed rather than kept in a reduced form. The window is measured in calendar months from the submission time.
Mail and infrastructure
The enquiry notification delivered to the VishTech Soft contact mailbox is retained for six months from the submission date, the same window that applies to the application database record, and is then deleted. The notification contains no source IP address.
Copies held by transactional mail systems, security systems, backups, and provider logs remain governed by the documented retention rules of each active system. No single retention period applies across every provider and backup.
Application logs
Delivery failures are logged with limited operational metadata such as enquiry type, recipient configuration, and exception class. Message bodies, reCAPTCHA tokens, and secret keys should not be logged.
Deletion requests
Requests should identify the enquiry, approximate date, sender address, and systems reasonably likely to contain it. Deletion may be limited by legal obligations, security needs, backups, or legitimate recordkeeping.
Retention questions
Questions about the systems likely to contain an enquiry or the retention rules that apply can be submitted through the contact channel.
