Managed Hosting & Infrastructure

Hosting is usually inherited rather than chosen: nobody is quite sure what runs where, who holds the credentials, or what would happen if the server were lost.

Set up, migrate, and manage application hosting on established cloud and hosting providers, with documented configuration, backups, and access — under your own accounts.

  • Hosting migration
  • Infrastructure management

Overview

Managed configuration on infrastructure you own

VishTech Soft is not a data-centre operator or a hosting provider. We work on established cloud and hosting platforms — under accounts that stay in your name — and take responsibility for how your application is configured, deployed, secured, and recovered on them.

That means documented server and service configuration, a backup arrangement whose restore path has been considered, controlled access, and a clear account of which provider is responsible for what.

What this includes

Managed Hosting & Infrastructure capabilities

Initial setup, a migration, and ongoing management are separable; scope follows where the application runs now.

Hosting setup

Provisioning and configuring web, application, and database services on your chosen cloud or hosting platform.

Cloud Hosting

Application hosting on cloud platforms with sizing, network configuration, and cost visibility discussed openly.

Hosting migration

Moving an application and its data between providers with a rehearsed cutover and defined rollback.

Infrastructure Support

Ongoing management of servers, services, certificates, and configuration, with changes recorded.

Backup and recovery arrangement

Defined backup coverage, retention, and a documented restore procedure that has been walked through.

What you receive

Concrete deliverables

  • Hosting architecture and provider recommendation
  • Provisioned, documented environment configuration
  • Backup, restore, and access-control arrangement
  • Operational runbook and responsibility matrix

Why it matters

Practical outcomes

You keep the accounts

Infrastructure stays in your name, so the relationship is never a lock-in.

Configuration is documented

What runs where, and why, is written down rather than remembered.

Recovery has been thought through

Backups come with a restore procedure that has actually been reviewed.

Responsibility is explicit

A responsibility matrix states what the provider covers and what we cover.

Scope and third parties

VishTech Soft is not a hosting provider, data-centre operator, or cloud vendor. Hosting is delivered on third-party platforms under your own accounts and their terms. Availability, capacity, and regional coverage are governed by those providers; VishTech Soft does not offer an independent uptime guarantee.

How a hosting engagement runs

From unclear infrastructure to documented arrangements.

  1. Match requirements to a provider

Establish traffic, data residency, and budget constraints, then match them to a suitable provider.

  2. Set up accounts and access

Configure hosting under your own accounts, with ownership and access recorded from the start.

  3. Provision and configure

Set up the environment, certificates, and deployment path, documenting each decision as it is made.

  4. Migrate and verify

Move the application with a planned cutover and confirm behaviour before switching traffic over.

  5. Manage it continuously

Maintain configuration, backups, and monitoring, with changes recorded rather than applied silently.

What we hold ourselves to

Hosting should never become a dependency on us.

These are the commitments behind a hosting arrangement you could take elsewhere tomorrow.

  1. 01

    Infrastructure owned by you

Accounts and domains are registered in your name, so the arrangement is portable by construction.

  2. 02

    Configuration written down

Server and platform configuration is documented, not held only in a running machine.

  3. 03

    Backups proven by restoring them

A backup is verified by performing a restore, because an untested backup is an assumption.

  4. 04

    Provider limits stated plainly

What the platform can and cannot do is described honestly rather than implied to be unlimited.

  5. 05

    Access granted narrowly

Administrative access is limited to who needs it and reviewed rather than accumulating.

Scope boundaries

Where this work hands off

Hosting sits between the names that reach it, the pipeline that deploys to it, and the site or application it carries; each neighbour is named here.

  • Cloud Engineering

Designing what the environment should be — regions, scaling, network shape, cost model — is architecture work. This engagement is the ongoing running of it once decided.

  • Domain, DNS & SSL Management

Hosting answers the request; names and certificates decide whether it is reached at all. The two are configured together but contracted with different providers.

  • DevOps & CI/CD

We operate the destination. Getting code to it repeatably, with verification and a rollback path, is delivery pipeline work.

  • Website Maintenance

Keeping the server patched is not the same as keeping the site current. Content, plugin and design upkeep sits with the maintenance engagement.

  • Application Security & Hardening

Hardened configuration is part of the setup; an independent review that tries to defeat it is separate, and worth commissioning.

Questions

Useful context before a consultation

Hosting questions usually concern account ownership, backup arrangements, and what happens during an incident.

Do you resell hosting?

No. Hosting accounts are held in your name with the provider you choose. We configure and manage what runs on them.

What uptime do you guarantee?

None independently. Availability depends on the provider’s own commitments and the architecture you choose to fund. We can design for higher resilience and explain what it costs.

Which provider should we use?

It depends on workload, region, budget, compliance context, and who operates it afterwards. The recommendation is documented with its trade-offs.

Who owns the hosting account?

You do. Services are set up under your own provider accounts so the relationship, the billing, and the ability to remove us stay yours. We work inside them with agreed access.

What happens if we want to leave?

You already hold the accounts, so there is nothing to release. We document the configuration, hand over access, and answer questions from whoever takes it on.
